These mouthwatering Peanut Butter Cups are a yummy holiday treat that everybody will love! So far, for my 12 days of Christmas Confections series, I’ve blogged about Peanut Florentine Bars, Gluten-Free Snowmen, Lemon Cookies and Grand Marnier Bars. Don’t miss a recipe, come follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
My daughter Peanut and I saw this recipe today and decided that we had to make it. OMG. There are no words for how decadent these are! I used large muffin cups but this recipe works well with mini muffin cups as well. With only 6 ingredients, this is an easy, yummy adult and kid-friendly recipe! First, gather your ingredients and chop the chocolate.
Get your chocolate chopped and into a microwavable bowl and melt in 15 second intervals until it’s in a drizzly state.
In a small bowl, combine 1/2 the peanut butter, butter and confection sugar and salt.
Line your muffin ( or mini muffin) pan with cupcake liners. Drop a small amount of chocolate mixture into the bottom of the muffin cups then top with a little of the peanut butter mixture followed by more chocolate.
Repeat this process until the ingredients are used up then, if desired, top with sprinkles. Refrigerate until set and store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
What a rich, decadent and amazingly simple Holiday treat recipe! Enjoy!
