March 2016 Weekly Meal Plan

I am passionate about cooking family dinner because it is the one opportunity I get each day to check in with my kids and husband and see how everyone is doing. I find that nothing brings them together faster then a yummy home-cooked meal!

I believe that with a little planning, cooking and eating from scratch is not only healthier but it’s also cheaper and EASY to do! Come join me in my meal planning adventures and cook up a yummy dinner for your family and friends tonight!

March is a fun month full of a little more sunshine, a little luck of the Irish and Easter. It’s a great time to spend a little time with the family enjoying the outside! This week I’m cooking up a variety of fun and kid-approved approved dinners! Enjoy!

This week I’m making:

Monday: Easy Carbonara Pasta ( Optional: Cesar Salad)
Tuesday: 15 Minute Chicken and Peaches with Swiss Chard
Wednesday: Amazing Crockpot Short Ribs with rice
Friday: Vodka Cream Pasta (Optional Salad)
Thursday: Quinoa Risotto with Broccoli & Tomatoes
Friday: One Pot Chicken with tomatoes

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 lbs. pasta of choice
  • 1 lbs. penne pasta
  • 1 (15oz) can peaches
  • Whole wheat flour
  • Brown Sugar
  • Ground ginger
  • Ground cloves
  • Dried oregano
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Dried basil
  • Dry mustard
  • 1 (15oz) can beef broth
  • 1 (15oz) can chicken broth
  • 1 carton vegetable broth
  • 1 (32oz) can crushed garlic tomatoes
  • 1 (14.5 oz) stewed or crushed tomatoes with basil
