This honey balsamic chicken marinade is quick to toss together and makes the juiciest, most flavorful chicken, both on the Stove-Top and on the Grill! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 2 tbs. honey
- ½ tbs. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- A pinch of sea salt & pepper
- 1 tbs. dried Italian seasonings
- 4 chicken breasts about 5 ounces each
- Small hanful of fresh parsley, roughly chopped
Directions:
- Add the balsamic vinegar, chicken stock, honey, olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt to a small bowl and whisk well to combine.
- Place the chicken in a shallow container and drizzle 3/4 of the marinade over the chicken, reserving the remaining marinade for cooking.
- Marinate chicken for 20-30 minutes.
Stove Top Preparation:
- Heat a large heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat until hot. Drizzle the pan with olive oil and heat until it shimmers.
- Add the chicken breasts to the pan and cook for 6 minutes per side or until the chicken has cooked through.
- Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and let come to a boil. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and serve topped with fresh parsley
Grill Preparation:
- Heat grill to 350 degrees.
- Place the chicken on the grill. Baste the chicken with the reserved marinade as it cooks.
- Cook chicken for 6 minutes per side or until chicken is cooked through, serve with chopped fresh parsley
